We are offering Kindermusik demo classes so you can get a taste of the fun & learning that happens each week in a Kindermusik class at Moves & Grooves and have the opportunity to speak with your Kindermusik Educators one-on-one!

WHO: Parents/Caregivers/Grandparents and children ages newborn to 7 years
WHAT: 20-30 minute demo classes – 7 different curricula/age levels.
WHEN: Saturday, September 7th, 2013
WHERE: Moves & Grooves in the Terwillegar Community Church at 1751 Towne Centre Blvd. on the 2nd floor.

DEMO CLASS SCHEDULE:

• 9:15 am – Sing & Play with Miss Kristin – ages 1′s & 2′s with full adult participation
• 9:30 am – Move & Groove with Miss Julie – ages 4 to 6 with adults welcome to watch and/or participate for the demo (Move & Groove classes during the School Year will be unparented for the first 30 minutes with adults joining the last 15 minutes for sharing time)
• 10:00 am – Family with Miss Roya – ages 0 to 7 with full adult participation
• 10:15 am – Laugh & Learn with Miss Kristin – ages 3′s & 4′s with adults welcome to watch and/or participate for the demo (Laugh & Learn classes during the School Year will be unparented for the first 30 minutes with adults joining the last 15 minutes for sharing time)
• 10:45 am – Cuddle & Bounce with Miss Roya – ages 0′s and 1′s with full adult participation
• 11:00 am – Wiggle & Grow with Miss Kristin – ages 2′s and 3′s with full adult participation
• 11:30 am – Young Child with Miss Kristin – ages 5 to 7 with adults welcome to watch and/or participate for the demo (Young Child classes during the School Year will be unparented for the first 45 minutes with adults joining the last 15 minutes for sharing time)

HOW: Send an email to [email protected] with the following information:

• Your name and phone number
• Name of Adult(s) attending with child(ren)
• Child(ren)’s name(s) and age(s)
• Demo class preference – if you have more than one class you wish to attend please specify your first and second choices. Due to space limitations we will book one class per child first. We will do our best to accommodate you with more than one space if requested! You will be notified by email on Friday, September 6th if we do have space in your second choice class as well.

We are so excited to be adding two new Kindermusik class options for kids 4 to 7 years old!

Move & Groove for ages 4 to 6 yrs - From the moment you became a parent, you wanted the best for your child. In class, we engage your child in music and movement activities that also promote language, social and emotional skills, early math and early literacy, physical coordination, creativity, and more. Plus, your child will learn basic music vocabulary and notation—all setting the stage for future school success and formal music lessons. Parents join the fun for the final activities. The Kindermusik@Home digital home materials extend the benefits all week long with music from class, activities for the whole family, and each month’s story.

Young Child for ages 5 to 7 - Using a small-group approach to music education, Kindermusik for the Young Child provides a pressure-free class where your child can develop a strong musical foundation by learning the concepts, language, notation, and vocabulary of music and its greatest composers.

Delightful and loving!  Two new Kindermusik curricula are being created to provide the opportunity to offer a separate class for babies who are not yet walking and one for babies who are on-the-move!

Cuddle & Bounce for 0′s and 1′s - With age-appropriate activities for newborns, infants and crawlers, this parent-child music and movement class will help you strengthen those early parent-child bonds, understand your baby’s development, and heavily focus on child development and communication with your baby. You and your baby will enjoy instrument play, dance, exploration time, and together time—and you’ll get expert advice and parenting resources based on the most recent research in baby development.

Sing & Play for 1′s and 2′s - This new Kindermusik curriculum focuses on your child’s beginning movement, helping to build the muscles your baby needs to walk, and vocal development, helping to nurture your child’s speaking and singing voice. With a mix of both parent-child joint activities and child-focused activities, you’ll be able to join right in on all the singing and dancing while also getting the chance to observe how your older baby or toddler learns on her own. Embark on Kindermusik’s fun new exploration of singing, swaying, laughing, and playing through Sing & Play, a just-right mix of early-childhood vocal play and language development, together time, and music and movement activities!

To make it easier to plan your year of Kindermusik we offer a school year calendar – September to June classes. And easier still – monthly payments!

Register today! Simple, Easy, Flexible . . . Enroll once now, and you’re done for the year.  We’ll charge your credit card on the 1st of each month.  Should your child need to move up to the next age group, we’ll help you do that at unit change time.  EASY in, but easy out too (we assume you’re here to stay for the school year unless you tell us otherwise).

Each School Year 2013 – 2014 Kindermusik enrollment includes:

• 32 weekly developmentally appropriate classes (September 16 – June 2)
• Eight 4-lesson units and new Kindermusik digital @Home Materials (every fifth lesson)
• Helpful parent resources, tips and communication – in class and online
• Unlimited make-up classes while you are registered!

Special Discounts and Savings:

• SIBLING SAVINGS: Two siblings in the same curriculum class save $28/month, three siblings in the same class save $82/month.  Families with siblings in separate classes save $10/month.
• REPEAT BENEFITS: If you have any of this year’s @Home units from a previous Kindermusik enrollment, ask for your “Second Time Around Savings”.
• INFANT INCENTIVE: If your baby is younger than 4 months at the time of your first class, your Kindermusik Cuddle & Bounce class tuition is free for our first 6 classes.  You just pay the Kindermusik @home digital materials costs (~$25).  That’s a savings of more than $75!
• REFERRAL REWARDS: Refer a “new-to-Moves & Grooves” friend.  When your friend lists you as the person who referred them, you will get a $10 credit towards your next month’s tuition, and your friend will get $10 off of their first month’s tuition.

New Scheduling Options:

• Looking to attend a class with your young toddler while your preschooler is in their own class?  We have the perfect option for you in Saturday mornings!   We are running two classes in different rooms!!!
• We’ve added some late afternoon and early evening class options for working parents, or families who want to come with the whole family!
• Still don’t see a class time that works for your family?  Gather five friends and we will do our best to create a class that suits your schedule!

Due to space restrictions our Dance Program have been temporarily suspended until further notice. We will keep you informed as to the when the Dance Program may continue.

Sample Class Descriptions & Schedule:
All sample classes will be 20 minutes in length.

Choose your class:

Village – 0 to 18 months and their parent/caregiver- 11:00am
Our Time – 18 month to 3 years and their parent/caregiver – 10:00 am
Imagine That! – 3 to 5 years with parent/caregiver joining the last 5 minutes – 11:30am or 6:00pm
Family Time – 0 to 7 years with their parent – 10:30am or 5:30pm
